Insects and Pests


There are lots of pest and insects that can be a big problem to most gardeners. First is the Colorado potato beetle, they are the pest that attacks your potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, pepper and various weeds. It rapidly destroys plants, spread diseases and leaves a messy black deposit on leaves as it feeds.

Another pest is the Wire worm they are very hard to control and they are very destructive. They eat the underground parts of the stem, the roots and the seed. European earwig is another type of garden pest they only eat decaying matter and occasionally eat flowers. Cabbage Maggot is also one of them they eat only the cabbage family. One of them also is the Tomato Fruit worm they are those who eat fruits specially the green ones. Another type of pest are the ones who attacks leaves of wild cherry, other orchard and chase trees they is called the Eastern Tent caterpillar. And many more insects and pest that are not mentioned here.
